Amy is a highly experienced facilitator who has run acclaimed, inclusive (and non-scary!) comedy and writing courses at Spike Island, Bristol Old Vic, The Gaffe, Bristol, and St Werberghs Community Centre among many, many others for 15 years.
Amy has taken courses with Soho Theatre, Central School of Speech and Drama, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and has an MPhil in creative writing from University of South Wales. She has been the Arts Council funded writer in residence within Walthamstow Libraries, Spike Island Bristol (where she ran the popular weekly course Write Space), and Bristol Libraries. Recently, Amy’s show show Behold! was directed by Jessica Fostekew who strengthened her commitment to create nurturing, ambitious spaces to make great work. Amy is informed about access and has lived experienced of disability and neurodiversity.
